Is yours going to be one of the "official" Volksworld show vans then?? :D

Pete B - sorry about the mess :(

All - a van in the line up gets you entry for two adults, kids under 14 are free but other adults must pay as normal. Camping is paid extra and must be booked in advance.

The line up is approx 9-5 , we go in from about 8.30 and can't leave till show closure. You can't sleep in the line up nor access your van if you leave it there, but you can take it away over night or leave it there, it's up to you and depends where you are planning to kip.

Passes are issued in the morning on arrival , if you don't show you don't show and we have a gap, that's all. We have passes for 30 vans each day.

Cheers :)

Excellent thank you Clem

more q's, it was inevitable!!

What time is depart ok on Sunday? ie strictly to the book or have people wandered off after an acceptable time?
I'm in a engine getting running phase so won't be able to confirm for about a week [possibly 2] is that ok?
The bus doesn't have to be open I guess? Does stuff go missing?

lastly shall 'we' start a volksworld camping thread - or is there no point and it all works out fine [ or has so on the last few occasions], I'd also not be keen on being on my todd and would prefer to be near EB'ers ?!

I could do both days, but is there any hassle to only doing one day [from a logistic ticket perspective?]

*EDIT*

just been on the vowo show site and this
CAMPING PLOT

This camping pass allows up to 1 vehicle and 1 tent per plot. YOU MUST PURCHASE AT LEAST ONE OF THE WEEKEND TICKET OPTIONS WITH THIS ORDER or you won’t have access to the main show.
The camping field opens on Friday 25th. You must leave by Sunday evening.

how does this work in reality - order camping but don't buy the ticket?

Last 2 questions sorry   Can we collect Passes on Friday morning? What time are we allowed in from? Thank you

I just bought the camping ticket by its self, online from the Volksworld site without buying any other tickets. It seemed to work and I already have it here :D . Difficult to all camp together as the site gets quite crowded and muddy from Friday pm onwards, not great if you want to move your bus to the line up on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Anyhows, really looking forward to this now.

the info in the mags suggest if you email ipc you can get a club camping area reserved - my thoughts on a new thread - to see if we had enough for club camping or are we not officially a club? 8)

No sloping off early I'm afraid. Absolutely no show vehicle movement when the public are in the area. Sunday is an earlier finish though, about 4.30?

You can just book camping, tell then youre in the show. Regards camping together etc, Im sorry Ive no real idea ... Ive never camped there!

If you cant make it at the last minute, then no worries .. every year there are loads of 'no shows' . Im used to it!

It can take a while to get out of the show due to everyone trying to do so at the same time. Think that may be the time to kickback and chill for an hour, let the masses disperse then have a clear exit!
Mike, you have pm.

I think most questions ahve now been answered, however the camping is a bit of a free for all....

When I turned up a couple of years back I was asked if I wanted Noisy or Family and based upon my answer was directed to an appropriate area of the field.

Now we got there in the dark last time, and the field was quite full so we grabbed a space where we could - not sure if club camping can be arranged, however I am up for it if others are.....another option would be to meet up somwhere on Friday and drive into the camping together.

Another point, if I remember correctly to get to the line up you have to drive in the main enterance an bear left.

As a suggestion, if someone wants to run a Volksworld Camping thread, then get a feel for numbers who'd like to camp together, swap moby numbers and first there can try and blag some space.

Ill put up the final detail for line up participants, its still a while off yet though, but yes, entrance is to the left side of the main entrance as you enter the main car park, near the on site hotel place.

Edit:
Please check out this thread if you are in the line-up and camping. We have the option on a "club" camping area.

I've started a thread: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=29671&p=251049#p251049

Like to put it in the Line up like 2 years ago, was fun.

Cheers, John.
