Hi EB'ers i still cant get Betty started........... its driving me mad and giving me the right hump :evil: the reason they are on here late is because if been trying to get her going for the past 10 hrs.... even the AA couldn't sort it!!!!!

They cost me £55 you can have them for £40 but need to be picked up from me in the romford essex area!!

Yeah standard, just a bit bigger 1641cc aircooled, he couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting any spark going through the dizzy cap. Had a few mates round today and we still never got it going, gona give it another go tomorrow!!!

Wouldn't worry an AA man couldn't start my old mini when I broke down once. Towed me back home, once I tinkered it was the points gap that was at fault. Not saying that's whats wrong with yours but just because the AA couldn't do it doesn't mean it is knackered. Don't give up on it.

Are you sure you've got power at the coil if not take a piece of wire from live in battery to live side of coil and it will start hope this helps
