I might sound a bit of thicky but I've just bought a new vw badge for the front of my bus... How do I attach it? Is it just a matter of strong glue or is there another way. It didn't come with any attachment bits.
Ta.

You need to buy some nylon bits, available from a lot of vw suppliers online. They're a couple of quid, and they push into the small holes in the front of your bus, then the badge pushes into them. Very easy.

The lugs are part of the badge. Either yours is not a "real" one or, more likely, somebody has cut them off.

If the original holes have been filled in you may find you can spot them from the inside of the panel.

Frankly, in your situation, it would probably be simpler to stick it on.

There should be 4 pins on the back of the badge

I need to order a badge for my bus. Can anyone reccomend a good place to purchase 1??

I'm very happy with the stainless one I got from Aircooled Accesories.

Also, for those trying to fit, I can't link it at work but there is a pic floating about of the exact measurements of where the badge needs to be (if you can't find ya holes!)

3M makes a double sided tape for exactly that. Peal off one of the paper backing, apply the tape to the back of your badge, delicately trim the excess away, CAREFULLY locate and mark your bus for the EXACT badge location, remove the other paper backing, apply the badge, remove any layout guides from the bus. Get it right because a badge that size won't be coming off without destroying it. Here in Canada the tape is sold at auto body supply retailers and local auto parts retailers.

Other than the stock way, i have placed small super strong magnets on one of mine to mount the badge. That way i can remove when desired or put in different positions to screw with people.

Sm1thy has one for sale in the parts for sale section if your quick.
