My wife bought a 1966 Beetle but isn't using it very much, so it is up for sale. Only 3rd owner from new. Flies through MOT as it is spotless, particularly underneath!
Only welding that seems to have been done is by door entry and looks like it was done in the 70's (i.e. heavy weld). Paintwork is very good. All original inside, except for floor carpets in front. Tyres good, free tax. Low mileage at about 60,000. Heating works, etc. a full carrier bag of receipts, including original sales documents! This is a well looked after vehicle. We have always garaged it.
1300cc engine is superb! Pulls away and runs brilliantly on local roads and motorways! Not skipped a beat.
Small rip along seam on drivers seat. I have sourced replacement material from the USA to match in.
After £4,250. Not after a swap, thanks.
