Anyone driving down tomorrow will be pleased to learn that the A21 closures planned for this weekend have been postponed (according to our local paper) due to the dreadful weather.

Should make the journey down a lot easier.

:( :( :(

well i'm sitting here looking out over my garden and all i can see is rain, rain, rain....

just checked the bbc weather forecast and this is in for the day now, bugger!

not sure what to do....with 2 small kids in tow it could be a very miserable day if it doesn't brighten up........ :? :? :?

decisions, decisions.......

Me and slammedkustom are too looking at the window and its just rain. The forecast for paddock wood is rain all day. Think we will give it a miss as we made the trek to Dubs in the Park and it rained all day there too and it was miserable. I hate British weather
such a shame as the Hop Farm is really nice

decision made, staying at home.... :( :(

poxy british summer...and we were really looking forward to it as we were taking some friends to their first VW show which makes it even worse!

lets hope Peppercorn stays dry, this year is fast becoming the soggiest show season ever!

hope you all have a good day, whatever you do........

carole

sounds like the best idea from carole and mike F. im not sure what we are gonna do but we are giving expo a miss.
its a shame as its not far but i dont fancy getting wet again.

roll on peppercorn and sunshine!

The weather made my mind up, memories of DITP, rain & tow truck! I'm off to the pub with the girlfriend.

it was better to stay at home, the rain was soooooo bad. i left at 11 and there wasnt much going on, though i did see a few dubs making the trek into the hop farm as i left.

could have been such a nice weekend but the weather ruined it. yesterday we had to put up tents in the showers, then it became so windy our gazzy bo too off, luckily no one was hurt

i left scott and kev there trying to brave the autojumble

I went down about 11.00 am and stayed till 1.30, weather totally ruined it and with two small kids in tow it wasnt great.
Says much for the show goers but many were determined to have a good time even huddled under their awnings.

Its Peppercorn for me, lets pray for good weather.

Marcus

we went to Hastings for a day out instead....should have stayed indoors but i needed a break from DIY!
sat in the daily drinking tea from a flask and watching the rain

Not long been back. The autojumble was a bit of a washout (pun intended), but I shifted some stuff and paid for my weekend so it could have been worse.

The concourse and show section was a bit lacking, but I know an early bay took home a rosette, and a trophy (possibly even best in show, but don't quote me on that.).

Yeah the EB's were a bit thin on the ground. Managed to meet up with bananacustard though which was good (thanks for the brew and chat :D )

Hey Ego,

I saw you just as you were leaving the site. Was gonna wave but I was in my Ghia so didn't think you'd know who I was. Bus is looking good dude. 8)

Thanks Jabbo :D
Shame about the weather as it would have been good to meet up with a few more of you guys off here. We'll have to get the EB line up sorted out for Peppercorn.

Cheers Scampi. I polished up the wheels for Expo too, which ended up being caked in mud by the time I got parked up in the show :(
