Wanted - Front Beam

Hi, Whilst stripping down my 71 Bay and noticed a few holes in my Frontbeam, so I need a new one... :roll:



Anyone got a decent one or know of one for sale?

I live in Bristol and work in Cardiff so anything near would be great but failing that i could do postage.......I just NEED one!

Hi rich , I've got a good one , it's off my 69 California import . It rock solid and I'm working in Cirencester ' not to far from Bristol / £80 if you won't it

Many thanks, sounds good... Is it a LHD or RHD and does it really matter? (sorry Im a VW noob! :roll: ) Also is it just the beam or are he torsion bars in it etc? Do you have any pics?

I've got a rust free, RHD, '71 beam that's been cut and turned available, complete with leaves.

I have a completely solid one taken from my imported '71 bus.

It is complete, stub axle to stub axle, shocks, leaves etc. it has new ball joints,arms etc.
It was taken off after 200 miles as my Red 9 arrived sooner than anticipated.

£250 from Derbyshire.
