wanted good quality trimmer to do my westy interior

the inside of my westy bus is in need of a re trim. i would like the r&r bed , buddy seat, both front seats, both door panels, sliding door panel, opposite panel all trimmed in vinyl with piping & fluting on the seats and just fluting on the panels could any one be recomended please

They supply vw heritage and others, but if you have a particular colour / style they will normally do it. Alternativly i think they go to the volksworld show, but thats the only one they go to i think!!

dan, theres a guy next to kings lynn college who`s blinkin marvellous..old hippy type but proper old skool. Did my bug and has done lots of vws. It`s the hidden turn left immeadiately before the college :wink:

go and see him and tell him he did my beetle interior for £360 ..ok that was 15 years ago but you have to see this chap eye to eye and he is very good,,,but that is a lot of money. I`d have expected £800 to be fair..maybe he`s moved on..got a lot older and just can`t be arsed unless it means he gets a good deal for himself...go and see him and take your bus so that he can see how easy it is

2 front doors £138 new cards and re covered
sliding door make new and covered £55

inclusive of vat

we have a trade stand at dubfreeze on sunday we are up on the balcony, and will have show seats on display, be great to meet up with anyone.

I am currently arranging a deal with a upholsterer, and hope to be offering a trimming service very soon. He is currently working on my interior and so far it's looking pretty fantastic. This guy does with needle and thread what Colin McRea did with a Rally Car lol

My trim includes:

both Front Seats
The single back facing seat
Buddy seat
rock & roll seat and rear cushion
Bed in the pop top
door cards/kick panels
side panels
headlining
purpose made carpet
cushions
All sponge replaced and fleece lined giving a ribbed look to the seats

Can't show any pics at present as we're having the whole bus refurbished & sprayed

For all of the above in quality trim i understand you'd be looking at circa £1500 but for a full breakdown of cost and what we can do PM me.

Our bus once done will be used to advertise the trim and refurb bit in association with Volkswork (see link) so will be on show at shows (hopefully). It won't be ready until early May but if youare interested in the retrim and want to get on the waiting list let me know. We are in the Birmingham Midland area but will consider further afield.
