Can anyone help I am trying to get my hands on a set of heater control levers for my 1971 LHD?

Hi Scott,

It is the actual levers that I am looking for

http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Heater-lever-set-T2-1968-72-set-of-4-211711369_act_shop.product_pID_55740618_lang_EN_country_GB.htm?crumbStartPage=2&crumbStartRow=16" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I noticed on the new JK beta website they have two types of levers for E.B, same as OEM and the billet one. Not seen OEM type before, must be a new product?

I got mine off Tubdub on here - seemed to have them regularly, if not frequently

Thanks guys nice set of billet levers on their way courtesy of my lovely wife :D !

Hi,

I'm looking to remove my instrument panel (to get access to install wiring for a new indicator switch) but to do this I need to remove the Heater Control Levers.

I've read the Bentley manual and it mentions removing the white plastic rivets/screws from the levers. I can just about do this from the hole in the dash for the radio, but...

1. How do you remove these rivets?
2. I could just cut them off. If this is what you are meant to do where do you get replacements from?

Cheers,
