Wanted: Spare Ignition key...

I need to get a second ignition key cut for my Camper, however the blanks for the particular type of key I have seem to be particularly hard to find.

The head of the key is the round black plastic type with the VW embelem off centre towards the shaft of the key. It has a 'N' code stamped on one side and 'witte' stamped on the other... I have found one place in the states selling them but they are asking £60-£70 per blank which seems a little steep to me.

Without changing the barrel is there any other type of key blank that I could use??

I found him on e-bay . He posted me an 'L' code blank and he doesn't charge the earth

I had my original key copied to the blank at Tesco's for about £ 7.00

I sent a photo of my key to karman konections and they identified the key series and sent me a blank..
