If the tailgate is the same as a engine lid then these are being remade and any VW shop should have them available

No, I meant the hatch rather than the engine lid. As far as I can tell, they hardly ever break but ... Mine are broken :msn4:

You need both sides? I have a right hand side one, had to buy a pair when mine broke.

Well early and late are different, apparently, and it was a right hand side I needed, but I got it sorted earlier before I saw your post. Guess you keep yours, I keep mine and wait until someone needs a new set :msn4:
