Hi Jon,

My son Thomas slept in the cot quite happily until this summer when he moved upstairs in to the continental roof bed that I fitted a few months ago.

He's just turned 11 at the end of July and the only reason he no longer sleeps there is because of height. We went away for a week in late May and his head and toes were just touching either side door windows. It was then that I realised that the cot was no longer suitable.

Weight wise he tips the scales at 6 stone.............I hope this helps.

Mike

I know this piccy is from the Bluebird ad,,,but if their cab bunk can support
a pair of young ladies I'm sure a Westy will be enough for a 10yo

My daughter is still using the bunk in my bus, she's just turned 14. I reckon its roof time for her, but she's not having it!

does she prefer the bunk bed to the cabin bed then?

any reason thought the roof bed would be better?

She is just scared of falling out it seems, I also think that she feels more secure on our level if that makes sense?

Luckily she's pretty small and light for her age :D
