Hi
Has anybody got a picture of the wire bracket that holds the headrest up on a westi roof bed?
It seems to be some kind of wire but I can't seem to find a picture of it anywhere! My van used to be a danbury so I am trying to get the westi roof fitted correctly!
Cheers
Chris

The van is a 1972 but i'm not sure what year the roof is. Its a front hinged one and the bed is the standard westi one not the bunks.
The headrest is hinged so that you can get up and then the headrest is held up by a kind of wire bracket that is mounted onto the roof section to the back of the opening.
Does this make sense? :?
If anyone has any pictures, or even the name of the bracket then I can try and get a picture and buy or make one!
Thanks for your help!
Chris

Thanks Jason
I've converted my van from a danbury so am missing the odd part like this.
Also, can i be cheeky and ask if there is any chance that you could maybe get a picture of where the rear arms for the roof mount to the van? I'm not sure that mine are in the right place as when the roof is down they lean in through the opening which doesn't look right!
Anyway don't worry if you can't, thanks again and cheers in advance!
Chris

You want the a piccie of the rear bit from a continental by the sounds, if your stuck I have one to take a piccie of

Bit tricky to pop the roof up at the mo. Click the link in my sig to see why!!!

The struts mount onto the roof into the corner of the canvas, so it's tight against the struts when erected (ooh er missus)
