Westy Front Curtain Pics Pls

The front curtain was missing when I got my bus, it has rails above the cab doors but these curtains are missing too, and there are poppers above the front screen. I found a curtain on ebay in gr8 condition in OG fabric, but it is a 1 part item (like the later westy's) and the poppers dont line up. There are no sign of poppers on the B pillar either, so the rails above the cabs must be original(??) seeing as the tie-backs are still there.

Can you guys show me how the OG set-up worked please, as im gonna get a set made with the slits in to take the cab bunk.

The og front curtain I have is the one peice one. Im not sure when they came into use, but it wasnt pre 1970.

Is the the type you want a pic of - the one peicer?

oh my god we are getting anal about westies. Before we know it they`ll be worth 20k just like our dark side brothers...in fact it`s already happening isn`t it?

My bus is an April 69 Westy and it should have three pieces, but I haven't seen any so I borrowed my mates curtain from his 71 Westy and made one to match. All I had to do was add a stud on each B pillar. It fits a treat and is really easy to fiy up.

Due to the van being 6" lower I think a couple of studs is going to anoy the purists. :lol:

Here you go, its too big to get in one shot

Its taught from the a post to the b post and elasticated between the two a post fixings. The slits are half way down the a posts.

Like Faux, Ive had a replica made, and added a stud to fix them.
