Hi!

After the last 2 batches were sold, I am able to get some more westy mozzy net in if anyone else needs any? A pair will be £7 posted. Should be a few weeks before it arrives.

it looks exactly the same as OG AFAIK. It's grey in colour, and easy to replace as it is held in with a rubber tube a few mm thick all around a groove in the window, as shown below. Pull the old tubing out, and lay the mesh lined up, and slowly press the tube back in the groove, as you work along, it will tighten up and be crease free. I used a chop stick to press in the groove - you may find something else with a blunt end is as good.

I have done my own, and it looks great, easier than trying to clean the stuff - and it's normally a bit fragile and torn after 35 plus years!

Add yours names to the thread, and i will post more details when i arrives!

Cheers!

Hi!

I don't currently have any, as i get family in Spain to post it over, I can try and get some if you like. There was a trader on here selling some, so i never bothered to get any more, as they were a bit cheaper and to be honest by the time i had wrapped it in cardboard and paid £1.50 postage, I was never gonna retire on the profits.

I was only offering the service as it wasn't something i had seen available in the UK, and I had noticed that Mum's mozzy netting on her windows in Spain was exactly the same as the Westfalia stuff. Though it's a few hours round trip for Mum to get it, as the nearest place is in Albox, IIRC., miles away from home, but she does go there occasionally.

If there is any more interest in this, I'll ask if she can bring some over with her when she visits over Xmas.

Cheers!

Alistair

They get more flys in Spain than here, so seems more available over there i guess

Cheers for the reply Alistair - sounds like quite a lot of effort on you and your family! dont spose you remember who the trader was???

cheers bud
