Hi,

I'm after some advice.

Should Westy louvre windows be fitted as a pair with one window having a right hand winder and one left or does it really matter? Did it depend on whether they were for the European or foreign market? How were they supplied on original buses?

Both of mine have L/H winders and I wasn't sure of the OG setup or whether this would cause uproar amongst purists!

Thanks for your help.

Mine are both LH winders. I think they are the originals but may be wrong

I fitted mine so they are both on the left as you look at them from the inside. I did this so that you can undo them from the seated position of the rear bench and so that you can open them with the sliding door open. Whether its right on wrong bothers me not

I dont think Westfalia put them in in any particular way, mine are both on the right as you look at them, others Ive seen have a mix.

Thanks for the quick responses.

I guess over time, they just got mixed and matched anyway. If there is no right or wrong approach with this then I'll run with what I've got.

Next, the painful task of cleaning and resealing them!

:D
