I had been thinking of an alternative way of fitting more seats in my Westy and the thought occurred to me about whether I could fit a buddy set from a RHD model in place of the Ice Box/sink unit, making it removable and finishing the wood work on the other side so it matched the existing buddy seat. Has anyone ever done this or seen this done?

i think you'll have to be careful that you can still use the handle to open the slider, i recently put in a new cupboard here to replace the fridge unit and noticed that the slider handle virtually touched the bulkhead behind the passenger seat when you need to open the door. i tried repositioning the handle to every position (ie at 90, 180 and 270 degrees) and it fouls in every other position.
