What alternator?

How do i find out which alternator am i running? :?

Have I got a internal or a external regulator alternator.

If it's an alternator won't it have a regulator internally?

If its got a single post(B+) and a spade fitting(DF) its an internal reg. If its got a single post (B+)and 3 spades(D+ D- DF) its an external reg.
