Want to tow an Eriba caravan behind my bus , what's the maximum allowed towing weight?

I passed my test a long long time ago , and also Eribas vans come in all sizes and weights so can I tow 1000kgs or more?

Quick google

http://www.type2.com/library/misc/tower.htm

Scroll halfway down to the table.

Use google for conversion if your needing KG

Looks like 500kg unbraked trailer with a 50kg nose weight.

Braked trailer, maybe 6-750?

Here is the info from the handbook

I struggled to get the noseweight down on my Eriba but moved the battery to the rear and added cider as ballast ;)

It is more complicated, tow capability and allowance of baywindows increased during time with improved brakes /and bigger engines. I higghly recommend going through this:

Well what I am thinking of is a Eriba that weighs 800 kgs unloaded with a max gross weight of 1000 kgs. In turn the 1600 single port will be replaced by something about 2100 cc with a uprated gearbox .

Does this sound feasible ?

I Tow an Eriba Pan Familia @ 690kg (unladen) with a 2.7L flat 6 motor, I have disc brakes on the front and it goes and stops perfectly fine 8)
