Hi im thinking of fitting electronic distributor to my bus 1700 EA engine, what would you think would be the best one to get

Keep thie dizzy you have assuming it works correctly and is giving the right amouth of advance and get a contactless module that will replace the points. I bought one from eBay about 7yrs ago. Have a look at 121016445132

when i set timing with strobe at 3500 rpm vac disconected to 28 btdc then conect vac and use strobe its going round about the 40 btdc, and falls back to about tdc at tick over, i think the dizzy has about had it
