On the log book it says 2.0L Has large sump and external oil cooler.

It was fitted new in the states just before being imported.

Not sure of the carbs either?

I would say that the E110 mark denotes your cam.
The other marks show your displacement (78 x 90.5 = 2016cc) - those carbs look huge!!!

;)

Ahh you know more than me lol. I have shown it to a few people and nobody had seen the carbs before. It does go very well but I think I may have muffled it with a standard 1600 exhaust

Ermmm, yes!!!

Get yourself a 4 into 1 header and exhaust and you'll see a huge improvement!!!

Remember, too, that all that silver in your engine bay isn't ideal for your cooling, I'd be tempted to change it for some black stuff if you get the chance!! - "Chrome don't get you home!!"

I know they say "Chrome don't get you home", but that is a thing of beauty. Get yourself a 4:1 stainless and watch that beast go!!!

PS Sorry, been on the wine since early doors.....!

Ok I just wanted to dig my post up again, everytime I do oil change Its always a dilema as to the choice of oil....so what would you guys recommend?

whatever you like-

i stick to mineral oil, got a 30l tub of 10:40 that I got for free a few years back that's seen me ok. No idea what brand.

Most important thing is that you change it regularly.

Spence, spence, spence, spence, how long have you been on here now? You know that kind of question gets a million different answers!!
But for the record, Halfrauds classic is good and so is Millers Classic performance oil.

Oh and on another note.... whats the best way to lower my van

For a big motor, Brad penn 20/50. Expensive but has ZDDP in it which makes the cam & lifters live longer ;)

personally i would use Valvoline 20-50w oil rather than 30w as it has a wider range as with that engine you will be running hot . is it full flowed if not get it done I would also look at a serpentine kit instead of that fan belt . Fit a good electronic ignition system MSD or Pertronix fit a Vintage speed Exhaust and then you've got a great engine

Got a 4 into 1 header plus phatboy exhaust for my 2.1 engine. However, been thinking of changing it as the header sticks out just past the bumper and this means the phatboy sticks out a bit aswell.

So, do all 4 into 1 headers stick out further? And what other options do I have instead of the phatboy? Have looked at the python, but it seems mega expensive and the feedback on here hasn't been great.

Cheers.
