What fuel cap for a crossover?

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a suitable fuel cap for a crossover? I bought one from jk (J10561) Listed for a 71-73 and told it would be suitable for mine which it doesnt fit. Or if anyone has one they want to sell? Not bothered about locking ones anymore anything will do!

? Should be the same as some of the beetle ones (forget which year though).
C&C sell one (nonlocking), they're usually pretty reliable for stuff that fits:

I sold several of the below cap last year on this forum and everyone was happy.
Still have some available.
Manufactured by Blau who were an OEM supplier to VW back in the day.
Will fit 8/'71 to 7/'73 buses.
They come with the seal and 2 keys.

I can vouch for the above caps being spot on for a crossover.

tried loads over the years on my crewcab and ive always had fuel leaks from the cap.

fitted the blau one and im now leak free 8)

Do you also know where to get the return spring for the fuel cap door on a 72? Mine flaps open sometimes while driving along !!
