Below are some pictures of a RHD hinge support, that you can compare to yours.
Yes, yours does look worn, including the thread for the wheel.

Ok. So although worn once the new bits are fitted will it be ok. Tough one to answer I know. I think it is worn as there has been no slide roller for years.

You could always try calling 01273 444 000 or emailing [email protected] in future it may be a faster way of getting a response.

I only saw this by chance ;)

I think you have an old Catalogue as the numbers dont tie up.

I would think you need:

https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/214843367/guide-sliding-door-runner-left-t2-68-79-rhd/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/211843359B/roller-middle-hinge-l-r-68-8-85/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I would hope that cast section is usable, if not you will need to try and find one second hand, the ones supplied new these days are for 1976 onwards so you will need to find a second hand one from the usual places, mega bug etc.

There is a 10% off over £100 offer in December

EarlyBay forum members get 5% off at all times.

Sadly its one offer or the other you cant add the two together.

Hope that helps

Cheer

Might be okay. However whilst you're at it why not try and source a decent support unit for the new wheel and block to fit to.

Looking at yours i think you will need a new one or at least some engineering to put a thread back on that cast unit as it doesnt look like it will hold a nut.
