I THINK it is a flux capacitor.. BUTTT the bus isnt capable of 88mph just yet so we will never know :mrgreen:

Naw, the red wires were a fuel tank sender repair and one from ignition irrc.. oke:

How about a waterproofed headlight relay set-up or may be for some auxiliary 'driving lights'.
There's definately a relay in there plus a big capacitor to prevent arcing maybe.
