As per title really, my van got an mot today but with an advisory that the rear shocks really do need replacing sooner rather than later, my vans lowered on adj springplates on the rear, the guy who looks after it for me recommended beetle shocks but i was just after any other opinions??

Cheers for the help!

Mine is on Red9 adj plates and I run stock bus shocks with no issues..

Mines down on horseshoes and running KYB front shocks, as the original rear ones kept bottoming out.
Basically measure eye to eye with the weight of the bus, then again when fully jacked up and on the stops, split the difference and buy a shock that has an extendable range somewhere in the middle :D

does anyone make coilovers for the rear that could be used as tow assisters?
I had some on my old squareback type 3 that were fitted in the early 80s
