burnee and leepoo have been at it again

I can date that....intergalactic space time warp 9.75 these are all the rage 40 years from now but you would need a ride in my DeLorean to understand!

Thats a whole heap of work! But why?

looks like the split body has been made to fit in the arches of another vehicle.i would guess the running gear and chassis isnt aircooled vw.looks more like an old British or American van base.

Do tell.

looking at the running boards and the rear arches i would say its a yank pick up truck of sorts with the bay split body droped on top but why????????????????? :? :?

I heard about this bus from another forum member who saw it at Wheels day earlier today - but I couldn't have imagined it would look this nasty! Urgh!!!

It is a 72.
I actually thought the same as most of you when i first saw it, 'why' what?' but after looking at it and talking to the guy, I like it. You get in on the other side, the old sliding door. Its all bay underneath, standard chassis, tho the floor obviously isn't, then sectioned and modified everywhere. The running boards are 50's truck.
Slammed buses do look great, but I think its refreshing to see someone elses take on it.

Hey Neil. I'm with you on the 'respect' aspect. It takes hard work and talent to carry out the mods that's obviously gone into this bus. The lower half (wheel arches/running boards) has grown on me, but the top half still isn't doing it for me :(
