I have never been to this show and wanted to know what it is like? I will be after buying van body parts. DO many of the big parts dealers go? It is fairly big? Previuosly I have only done van fest and the volksworld show.

Its a good show, not as big as the other you have been two. Its mainly inside in 2 halls, one hall is autojumble and the other main dealers. For body panels you usually get AH Schofield selling them.

Good start to the season,

Its no where near that size, majority indoors quite a cool vibe to it, missed last years, the usual vendors are there so you'll be able to get most of the parts at a slight knockdown, two years ago I did note that some of the foreign and the home grown parters were chargeing silly money for some parts but then some other items were peanuts so ballanced itself out I suppose the mezz level tends to sell the nic nacs toys and mags etc with the ground level being the big vendors.....

the queue in can be a pain especially in the cold but atleast the cafe opens early

It's friggin cold that's what it is :!:

Two or three years ago a mate and I drove home to Surrey after the show (in his EB panel van) in thick freezing fog. It took about 4 hours!

They don't call it dubfreeze for nuttin' :)

It's no show as such but a great swapmeet I always manage to fill the car somehow! :D

Yep as other's have said, good to look around but its uber uber busy, cold and not so much of a show, more loads of people in a big warehouse with stalls.......

Don't take your girl friend, unless she is into it all as well.

As Clem says, less of a show more of a swap meet, some great stuff to see if you're into it but if you're with someone who isn't they will only think less of you while wondering how you can spend soooooooo long sifting through boxes of rust and drag you away early........

Its a great show for people digging out there garages/lockups so you can get the stuff you want at quite cheap prices . I live all of 16 minutes away so i get in early Ha Ha :O) . Put at least 3 layers of clothes on and i always wear thermal trousers as your legs get froze . I never miss it :D

You have to go to the Freeze Just once to say You,ve been ;)

its a great excuse to get away for the day and chat dubs a couple of months before the other shows kick off. still attracts some decent traders. i bought an 091 box for 200 notes two years ago which was a right steal. certainly less tatt stalls than other shows. and the sun came out last year for a wonder round the car park. if it was in the middle of the year it probably wouldnt work, stick it in the middle of winter when dubbers just want a fix. i wish i ran it. :D

have you fitted your fistral roof yet mate?
