Hey folks. Anyone working on anything interesting at the moment on your buses big or small ? Anyone striving to get a project on the road and debuted this year ? If anyone is like me, I'm always looking and pottering around on mine. So far on my list i have to sort a small leak in my sliding door, a few tiny paint scuffs here and there and i have to do a few small jobs on my interior. How about you folks ? 🤙.

Mines getting a fair bit of love.

Refreshed the 2276 motor with better flowing heads after I rattled the valve guides loose 😅 bare metalled the entire under side and fully repainting body colour because Upol raptor is utter crap and flakes off 🤬 fitting 2 new inner cills and front jacking points because they had become rather holey 🤦🏻‍ then getting the bed & back seats re trimmed

I need to finish cleaning the roof on the panel so I can take pics but need some polish. Working on the Austin hot rod trying to get jobs done before the car show at the Three Counties in April.

Wiring new loom in. Just getting it finished now and tested … dashboard in and we are finally done 🌈👍

They’re never really finished are they??

I think this weekend i might start my bus for the first time since prob last November, I'll do an oil change and see what condition the plugs are in. Might even check the clearances if I can be bothered, but I did do that about 6 months ago.
I'll be doing that too in the next few days (oil)👍

Noticed a slight exhaust leak at No.1 manifold J tube when I was doing some pre MOT checks. Probably explains the slight parp parp parp (not me) I’ve been hearing for a while. Did gaskets all round today and fitted some decent self lock nuts too 👍

Did the rocker cover gaskets as @redgaz54 suggest on another thread. Top tip 👍 all good.

Have been busy all winter with new seals all around, break lines, paint.

Got the engine out, new clutch release, going over the engine bay fixing rust and giving it an oversight.

Started changing the rear brakes but got very stuck on putting it all back together again. Self adjusting ones and I am getting some assistance, first time for everything.

Found a very nice engine that has been renovated and will be fitted when brakes and engine bay has taken care of.

Removed the original Eberspacher from 1975, and was most likely used about a year later for the last time.

In about 4 weeks it’s going to my cabinet building friend for a complete new interior. Can’t wait to enjoy the short Swedish summer!
