Personally love the westy interior but the Deluxe trim and white roof of bus.

Ah - so the darker wood look is called Berlin? Does that apply to all that look like that?
Nice :) - Proper retro.

The Berlin refers to the layout, all down one side as opposed to 2 separate bits behind the cab seats, & what looks to me to be a slightly wider bed!!

Depends if its an actuals deluxe or the waaay too common misconception of a US spec bus being described as a deluxe because it has chrome, but isn't.

:msn4:

Ive got a genuine Deluxe and would love to put a Westy roof on but my missus would kill me.
As for interior, what ever suits you and your budget i guess.
Chrome trim is good on non Deluxes but as for the tyres, get white bands not those crap looking tyre flap things, they look awfull (my personal opinion for what its worth  ).

All valid stuff. Cheers for the input.

I have my own feelings on whats right and wrong and what I like, just very good to get other peoples explanations as it might be better than my own reasoning and change my feelings.

Basically Im looking to get an early next. Has to be Green or red and either a Deluxe bus with Westy interior or Westy Weekender or possibly a westy.

mine started out as a rhd tintop with a late westy interior , grafted a front hinger uk westy roof on cos I needed the extra room and I bought and fitted an early rhd south african westy interior , that has a double buddy seat behind drivers seat . Did have og deluxe bumper trim on it but its fresh out the paintshop now and the trim looks a bit shit now

I'd go deluxe trim and westy interior - not a fan of old buses with modern interiors

How about a westy with deluxe trim? Lots seem to do it this way.
