Surely dibs must be backed up by a deposit or full payment within 48 hours.

Sounds easier :) I have been waiting for a couple of weeks on some parts and felt guilty offering a part to someone else :? 8)

First to hand over the cash gets the item, that's the rules I work to.

If they "realy" wanted the parts they would have got them/paid for them by now. I agree with Sparkywig no payment or deposit within an agreed time, sell them to someone else.

Grannies gonna have to get tough!

I don't see the point of dibs, if you are interested in a part for sale simply get in touch with said person and transfer/ hand over money, that's it right?

Yes some are too quick to shout dibs giving them time to change their mind. Perhaps there should be a Buy it Now button that goes thru to paypal then no messing
