Whats the etiquette on dibs?

If someone is the first to ask for something you advertise and doesn't get back to you how long do you wait for a reply?

Sounds easier I have been waiting for a couple of weeks on some parts and felt guilty offering a part to someone else :? 8)

If they "realy" wanted the parts they would have got them/paid for them by now. I agree with Sparkywig no payment or deposit within an agreed time, sell them to someone else.

I don't see the point of dibs, if you are interested in a part for sale simply get in touch with said person and transfer/ hand over money, that's it right?

It would be lovely if it were that simple but people do seem to change their minds and not tell you

Yes some are too quick to shout dibs giving them time to change their mind. Perhaps there should be a Buy it Now button that goes thru to paypal then no messing
