Im a small way into a rolling resto, and I think it's going to be some time before I get it just they I want it, a lifetime probably. But I've been looking at others projects and it got me thinking, what do you like? Rat, stock, fully modded?

I like the outside to look stock but like the interior to have the personal touch. Mines a westy but mustard yellow just not for me.

I have gone lowered, rat outside and new smart functional interior with more power.

But i am going lower, narrowed for end of year. Then going restored outside at the end ofvnext year.

I dirched the westy interior as it didn't work for me

I like mostly stock. The only things I do or will do, are things that can be re done back to stock easily. For example, when I get ready to have my seats reupholstered I will probably go to a cloth style cover instead of the stock vinyl waffle pattern style. I want something that is cool in the summer (won't stick to it when wearing shorts) and warm in the winter. It would be easy to go back to the stock look if wanted though. Also I just add things like nick knacks for personal touches.

Hmmmm.... I have to admit I'm partial to a little sado masochism, bondage and dominant women, with a little girl on girl sideline action...

but a close second has to be stock VW type 2s with minimal individual flair just enough for the owner to leave their mark...

A patina laden, slammed panel, with sign writing on the outside, and a fully tricked out interior with an ear smashing sound system and massive engine.
I have a family, so I just sit and dream.

I'm aiming for stock but low. It's going to look like a lot of other Savannah Beige buses out there but I JUST DON'T CARE 'COS IT'LL BE SO FECKING SWEET!!!

Got the stereo, it's going in for paint Monday, a king & link pin beam sits in the shed and a mean 2110 is being built as we speak :mrgreen:

If money, space and time were no problem I would have a stock bus for my home comforts and have a slammed ratty doka as my bit on the side.
