Wheel colour

Decided to have my original wheels blasted and cleaned up (1972 crossover bay - Devon).

Would the wheels have just been steel or coloured (white?)..... if steel then after shot blasting how should they be finished?

Wheels were painted L581 Cloud White (although some deluxes had L41 Black) up to July 1971, and L91 Chrome from August 1971.

Thank you for that - chrome look it is then....

Are there any comments on suitability of: two pack... Powder coated.... Or a DIY spraying??... what results have been had by others befor me?
