Which Garage...Timber or Metal?

I'm hoping to build a garage to house my pride and joy but what should I build it from...flat pack garage or should I build my own from timber or metal? I know it's a bit of an open question but which would work out cheaper? A photos for inspiration?

Was just thinking the same question. Am moving into a new house and need to build a garage. Have seen prefab concrete ones and metal one that are not too badly priced. To have A brick built one on London would cost the same as the van.

I absolutely love the look of the log cabin garages.

I prefer the look of a wooden garage but metal would mean less maintenance.

I've got a double brick built garage with remote roller doors double glazing, fibreglass roof, electric sockets everywhere, cost roughly £5000! Having mates in the trades comes in very handy! 8)
