Which indicator lens?

Clear or Amber lens?? My 71 US import is currently spoilt and had one of each fitted. Unfortunately neither in great condition. So wondering is it just a personal taste or what would have been the orig colour lens?

Amber I think (you mean fronts right?) Im sure I read somewhere once that Italian market vans/buses had clear front lenses (?)

Yep fronts. Got solid reds on the back and both match! [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Fronts would have been amber (even for the US market). Clear inidicator lenses are an after market accessory.
I have amber lenses on my '71 (just my preference).

So some original from the factory lenses came solid amber? I've seen aftermarket lenses that are one piece amber ... must be for the US market? My Euro spec bus from Belgium came with amber inserts in the clear lenses. Personally I prefer the clear lenses with amber bulbs, so I pulled the amber inserts out.
