ive been looking on ebay for a split charge relay, need one for the bus as im planing on geting a liesure baterie,

so a few questions.....

what have you got?how long will it last say if im using the sterio and maybee a small light?

what amp relay do i need?

what baterie do i need? it has to fit on the 2nd baterie tray

where's the best place to buy from?

hope someone can answer a few of these :D

thanxs in advance fellers

you could get a good few hours out of it depends o the stereo possibly 6-10 hours constant use on a leisure battery?

youll need a 45 amp 12v relay and a deep cycle battery for the extra leisure battery, it can fully discharge and recharge without any problems

tinternet or maplin for the relay, somewhere like that, and somewhere like halfrauds for the battery. buying a split charge kit is more expensive but can save you alot of hassle. Ive seen them for £16 cheapest when you consider the relay alone is around £8.

i did look at the kits but looks like your just paying more for some wire and spade conectors.

il get on with that ,thanxs for that johnny.bloody hell my spelling of battery was along way out

spelings one of my week points,id like to have the exscuse of dislexia but unfortunetly im just thick when it comes to speling

thanxs again bud

you can use the standard type relay or there are these on the market. Which are far easier to install and just as good.
