My van originally had white wall tyres before i lowered it i'd really like to put some back on it!

Anyone know anyone who does them and anyone got a pic of their lowered vans with white walls?

Seen some inserts but not sure if they'd look pap?

I have read that inserts are crap and potentially dangerous. Karmann Konnection do thin white band tyres or you can have normal tyres white-walled by hot rod type garages. I think there is a place in Portsmouth called Bay area rods that i read about on VZi doing it.

Dave,

This could be the answer and no need to change the tyres

I go for Marshall white wall tyres, are the best by far IMO 8)

where did you buy them from dude? got a site or a number rough prices at all?

the guy who adds white walls on was meant to be doing my current tyres but he's based in manchester so its been tough organising it.

Cheers

I thought the guy in Manchester was doing the shows...get him to meet you and have it done in the car park....

last time i spoke to him he'd revcently lost a family member so i'll contact him again in a month or so.

I woulnt mind proper tyres with white walls though!

Came with the bus....I saved that guys details for when I was in your situation.....eager to see where Easy got his from though as I have a spare set of wheels that need shodding...I got beauty rings on as well look real nice, not everyones taste I know....

yer not to sure about the beauty rings myself i do like the idea of 15 inch splitty wheels with white wall tyres though!

these guys do a good selection of white walls in diff sizes and the search is good to as you can see from the icon if they do them in whitewall.

What you want is a tyre with a raised whitewall about 1 or 2mm as this gives a good effect and really makes em stand out.

They are not cheap at around 60 or 70 a tyre, but have great tread and have been on my van for some 4 years  they are still perfect and have spot on tread (i do about 4000 miles a year on em) the whitewall is made from great stuff and comes covered in a blue protector that you have to scrub off with a nail brush.

I got them through...............................ATS!!!! :D Have a mate who works there and he got them for me
