Has it been involved in a big accident as the pop-top doesn't seem to sit flush to the roof and also the cab-door doesn't look to close properly at the top :?

nothing to do with me (or radiators) and I didn't actually spot the grill though did think summut wasn't quite right.. then a friend email me saying about the grill

It may well be someones take on filling up the late bay indicators following a clip replacement.....

Having seen some really poor work filling the holes on some busses this doesnt look to bad at all, not sure wether that idea would work with the darker colours but on a white, not too bad at all.

Could be a high light to low convertion and just extended in to the indicator section not my cuppa sorry Frankie.
