It is sold :(

I have asked Matt to build a bus for me, once I locate a a solid shell.

I will have the Bus of my dreams complete with air ride, delux trim and Fuch alloys. Watch this space

That's great, he seems very cool when I spoke to him and I trust him which is so important. I just need to find a solid, dry bus. He will fit a new engine (I'm thinking 1641 or 1776), slam it to hell (Air ride) and fit some disc brakes and the Fuch's. He's also going to get me some delux trim (including bumper trim).

I am really impatient but I know I need to wait for the right bus. Matt said he would make some enquiries. One thing's for sure, if it's anywhere near as good as his 67, then i'll be a happy dude!

Yippee :D

Simon

That's great news for you - terrific to have something straight off as you want it
Look forward to bumping in to you somewhere this year and seeing the finished result

Job done, now go find that shell

Not much detail on this one, but worth an inquiry. + A big haggle on price.

Thanks Dude/s,
That's almost perfect. The only problem with it is the fact it's crossover. I really fancied something from mid 1970 or before (Matt's orders LOL).
Like the price though, that would leave me quite a bit to do it up!
Any other ideas, greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Si

I sure like the look of this but it really would need to be a HUGE haggle! LOL

Thanks

I've decided that I must have a Westy, nothing else is quite so......................................

COMPLETE THE SENTENCE. :D

Obvious...............

I think that bus you missed really got your juices flowing and I dont think anything other than an OG paint modded 68 Westy with Deluxe trim will do for you

Go for it 8) 8)

(it wasnt OG paint....... ;) )

For a family, a Westy is the obvious choice, there are 'fors and againsts' regarding the conversion, but the availabilty of 'dry' examples makes it a good option. The low and trimmed look can be added to your choice after the event, and can be achjeived at a number of price points and over time, so just get and source the nicest example around for your cash. I wouldnt wait for any great price drops though .... there is now a dwindling supply in the UK and the imports have slowed right down. :)
