Didn't get much joy posting on Kempys post so I thought I'd start another thread.

Just bought a set of Sprintstars and need to find tyres for them, looking at 185/65/15 which will give me a similar rolling radius to what I've already got.

Can anyone tell me the correct model of Yoko tyre that will work on Hank or will any decent tyre do the job?

Some swear by commercial tyres (but limited sizes) whereas others say car tyres are cool - my advice is to check they're rated for the weight of your (fully loaded) van and you should be OK.

I wouldn't use Yoko's as they're a bit of overkill - unless you're planning on some serious sideways action

;)

Stock tyres are the only one that will give you the right ride. Ask yourself this question. Have I informed my insurance company of the changes to my tyre size/type? If so then fine, but if not hope and pray that you do not have to make a claim as it is entirely possible that your insurers will take the view this vehicle is modified and void your insurance. Think about it.

Stock tyres are 14's and not 15's as most alloys are so they are not an option.

I'm not trying to be funny but this was a request for information about tyres and not the debate over stock vs alloys vs insurance companies, those kind of arguments tend to happen on other camper forums, hardly ever on here.

Right any more suggestions on make of tyre?

I use a local independant tyre service & take their advice , knowledge & recommendations. something you won't get at K*** **t
Have Nankang fitted on my stock wheels & alloys
