My old Golf 1.8 Driver. 8)
Loved this car and spent all my hard earnt money on it, only to sell it to a friend who wrapped it round a lamp post!! :cry:

2.0 gti 8v conversion with all the running gear from a mk3 GTI inc (280mm front discs.) :D
Fully adjustable Avo coilovers,
Custom Scorpion s/steel exhaust and manifold.
Mental sound system.
Golf G60 recaro interior.
Corrado font end then Bonrath single headlamp setup.
Delocked. Cliffor concept alarm and remote central locking.
too many different sets of wheel tyre combos...think about 8 sets!! Wide 15 Borbet's 17" Masitaliy's OZ Super T.
G60 arches bigbumpers with rolled arches...........
Percs of working at Motech back in the day!!
Man I loved it, I know it wasnt aircooled but we had the missus's Bug too, some may find it chav but it got a lot of looks at pod back in its day.

Sorry it's a T4 but it served us well for 6 yrs, used tons of fuel and rusted just like any other vw van :roll:

2 yrs ago when the one in the pram had grown up a bit, our camping trip with the local T4 forum guys

we had a cracking breakfast of bacon,sausage,eggs, mushroom and beans, all in a large bread roll..
It did 115 on the autobahn ;) 0-60 in 12 secs and could pull from 20mph in 5th gear, and averaged 20mpg around town and 28mpg on a long run. Sold it to buy a bay.
