So how do you folk go getting a slammed bus through the MOT? is there a minimum clearance or do you rely on "friendly" mechanics?

Looks like a lot of us fall this. But to be fair, the white panel and the Split DC are driven regularly into the desert in central Australia, I've seen videos of their exploits and they go places the Riceburning 4WD set can't get to. So it's a case of "Horses for courses"

Haven't we got someone who can do the photoshop slam to see what it would look like at an a ppropriate height? I can do the flame removal (roughly), but the rest is above my pay scale! The dumbass has got the board on back to front as well as no straps.

I dunno, red with chrome isn't very original. The flames look like stickers, but with a serious taste of slammage it would improve markedly. There is plenty of surf accessible via bitumen roads so all that clearance is unneccassary anyway :D :D

Fantastic thread, thanks for thinking to take all those pics as you were doing a mountain of work on the bus. If you are running with no shocks, what stops it bouncing all over the joint? Is there a minimum clearance for your MOT? Here it is a minimum of 100 mm. Yours looks well under that!

Don't give up just yet! Maybe try just one picture at a time. Have another go and see what happens, then maybe we can work out where you are making the error. The first few times it is a bit of a parallel universe experience, then it seems to fall into place.
