    I was with a bird and we had kids, she went, kids stayed and I didn't want to put a sidecar on my motorcycle or drive a car shaped like a shoe, the free road tax, availability of spares and utilitarian nature of the bay appealed to me. Several years down the line and I still think they rock...

    Was the front bolt I had to cut almost flush with the nyloc nut that came supplied. and I have non removable ball joints.

    I got one for my 72 crossover from Cool Air, fitted fine except I had to saw one of the bolts that came with it shorter, as it interfered with my clutch pedal. It got rid of heaps of free play I had with the steering wheel.

    I have a red 1641 off of TES, had issues with the dizzy drive when I fitted it, he came round and sorted it, years and many miles later the 009 dizzy finally committed suicide :( so fitted the old vac advance and all is sweet and ...touch wood ...rosy . I thought TES were good for the money...

    I sold mine and got it back a year later, the dude had done nothing except let it rust some more...better the devil you know...well cept for ex girlfriends, that is a no no.

    Indeed I am dude, gotta a loverly black and silver plate all exposed now, kept the cardboard on as the scrap lifters have been after me for years, it's weird seeing it out in the street with four wheels rather than two to avoid those nasty DVLA car steelers 8)

    Starter problems ... please help!

    If you bridge the starter solenoid with a spanner or screwdriver, after making sure it's in neutral with handbreak on and no limbs near the wheels you should be able to tell if it is the ignition switch as it'll turn the motor over, you get some small sparkage but don't panic :)
