    Anyone know about this crewcab rear cover thing?

    Seen this van for sale on ebay,(sorry its a late bay) has anyone ever seen such a thing for the back of a crewcab? Thought i had seen it all,not sure on the look but it would be handy for kipping in. Cheers steve

    Just sheared my steering column horn spade connector grrr

    Take care a rivet doesnt stick through too much and touch the steering shaft. I struggled with mine but ended up getting a replacement tube from fbi it was complete with the plastic base bush,was cheap too

    Hi, Just bought an assistant, only got the base and lid tho,so wondered if anyone has any intermediate shelves,its well "rat look" so they dont need to be mint,just cheap!! Anyone got anything stashed away? Cheers steve

    Not me. Ok its just a crewcab,but it gets used and abused as it should,gets a rest over the winter as its cold and rusty enough already! Made the mistake getting an xr2 'minted' years ago and was scared to use it or leave it anywhere. When the van gets a knock it blends in with the rest! :-)

    Been twice to ring,never got round,alternator went in car park 1st time and was closed for fog 2nd time!! Wolfsburg is good though.

    If its like my 1776 from Laurie it will be a good un, Loads of torque,pulls really well on acceleration. I had quite a wait but it was worth it!

    limited mileage

    If you get near your mileage limit tell your insurer,they will then add an additional fee. If you go over and they find out on renewal they charge a lot more..as I found out.

    Check your Top Pulley & Alternator

    There looks to be a spacer like the one arrowed on your alternator already,it looks like the pulley nearest the alternator is only held away from the alternator by the shims and when its tight the shims are bending/destroying themselves which leaves the pulley free to cut into the alternator...

    removeing underseal aftermath

    Will a heat gun or hairdryer not help? melt the underseal so you can scrape it,then remove the remnants with your thinners.
