hi there...i've been offered a choice of 2 1303s AT code box's
one with IRS and 1 without - I plan to fit the 1303 box to my 1968 bay - for better motorway cruizing and also as i am raising the engine.

My question is - do i need IRS - fir what?
If both boxes are roughly same price - then can i sell IRS parts to get some money back?
Think thts it

thanks!

forgot to ask - are the original beatle drive shafts and cv joints usefull for fitting to 68 bay??
thanks

ok so as far as i can tell i use my busses driveshafts with beatle inner cv joints and the original bus outers...
What i am confused about is weather I should make up some kind or cradle to support the g/b and engine?

1.modify gearbox mount to take the 1303s box
2.beatle cv joint ineer - bus cv's outer

thats as far as i have got - can someone let me know what else is involved!
thanks
