A complete engine with gearbox and MANY NEW PARTS in SUPERB CONDITION from a 1968 Karmann Ghia (RHD).
The engine comes with brand new and BEST quality heat exchangers and alternator conversion, all fitted by Beetlelink (total cost £490 alone). It’s a single carb 1600 twin port engine (carb included). The whole lot is in superb condition .Everything worked fine and never missed a beat while I used it. Change the oil and stick on an exhaust (the only thing I am not selling with this) and away you go. Speedo read 28,000 on the car at the time the engine was removed but am reliably informed by the guy I bought it from that it was a near new engine from a type 3 (he is a VW specialist and fitted the engine himself). Gearbox works perfectly too. Will even throw in the rear axles, shocks and wheels so you can get it to the van easier! Please note that this is a swing axle rear suspension setup and not IRS (but that this can be easily modified to suit your needs).
The engine is based in Birmingham, and i am happy to sell everything for £750
