I bought my heads from DRD - only shame was I paid and my friend went in and collected - so he charged me the 10% sales tax. notice they do 85.5 stroker pistons now - so the 1745 would be easier to build

I've got a pair of Weber 40's on a 1600cc, it runs great but thats about as big as you can go on a 1600. i know what you mean though, in the states i saw a set of Weber 48 IDA's with velocity stacks on a 1641cc in a bug

Can't find the thread, but there's a guy in the states that runs rejetted 34's on a 2 litre single port.

any one have some spec sheets on popular carbs? eg 36/32 prog say a pair of 40's just intrested in the cfm these are rated for.

im recall seeing that a 5k rpm t1 engine at 2000 ish cc draws about 200cfm max. I'd love to find the time to start reading up on this stuff as im sure that i see lots of t1 engines running big carbs 40+mm but dont hear much of them getting rejetted to suit. just going back to old motorbike days the carbs often had the cfm but needed to be rejetted for best performce.

.. anyone recommend some reading and intro to calculating this info?
