Reluctantly selling my crewcab due to a new business venture :-(
Sept 1967 so one of the earlier around as production of these only started in August 1967. (proof of age certificate supplied by VW museum in Germany)
Stunning vehicle that is a real head turner due to being so rare.
I have owned since it was shipped into the UK from California around 4 years ago. Had a reconned engine fitted and only done a few thousand miles since fitted, new front panel, brake lines, sills, battery, seals, alloys, painted etc. Work carried out by Midland Paintwerks and Johnson Autoworks so very good standard. Starts first time every time and driven regularly when dry.
6 seater with special harnesses shipped in from the states for the two centre seats as didn't want our kids with just lap belts.
Stored in a garage over winter months and kept under a cover at other times.
12 months Mot.
Drivers seat needs repair/replacing.
Internally it is a blank canvas, have fitted door cards and kick panel and has original rubber mat in the front but no roof lining etc.
Any viewings welcome, based near Loughborough/Leicester in the Midlands
