I have a '69 danbury. The canvas is shot and am looking for a replacement. Not worried about colour/authenticity.

Looking for a supplier and potentially someone to fit it.

Thanks in advance.

I used proud to pop and me and wife installed it. Not the easiest of jobs but not that hard either!!

I have installed a Westy canvas before and it was pretty easy to be honest so fancy having a go myself. I have just taken a look at the proud to pop canvases. Did you install on a Danbury?

PVC based so its slot stiffer than westy canvas, also i assume the wood frame where it attaches is less accurate dimensions than a westy roof so difficult to get perfect fit.

Superb, thanks for the info. I noticed you don't have the outer strips holding the canvas to the roof. Did you put yours on the inside?

Yeah, it's a bit tricky to get the rivet tool into the corners but I think it looks better.

I couldn't find a suitable finish strip for inside but I see Poptop-parts.co.uk sell this, not cheap tho @ £39.

Same problem, couldn't find any finishing strip at a decent price. Found some white plastic strip in the end, from B&Q I think which works well.
