The tyres and stance thread is awesome on this forum but for some reason it has all gone quiet since 2023! Would anybody here be interested in restarting this one? My starter for 10 is as follows: 195 50 R15 on the front with dropped spindles and 195 60 R15 on rear. All 4 tyres are XL with an 88 rating. French slammer 4 inch narrowed beam from Midland Bay and adjustable spring plates on rear. Ride is good but front wheels still hit the outer bulges of the arch now and again when I drive too fast over speed ramps or fall foul to a large pot hole. ET on these wheels is 20 so I'm thinking about going back to R14 steels with an ET of around 35 and running 165 x 55 x R14 to bring the wheel a bit further in and avoid the outer bulge. If its too low using the 165 R14s then I can shove it up a bit using the beam adjusters. Fun times ahead.....
