A very cool 1969 Riviera small poptop camper van. Runs and drives with good compression, starts right up, stops and steers but when you crank a very hard left, there is a clunking sound in the steering? not sure if that's a tie rod or? This camper was owned by a gentleman who passed away a few years ago, sat unused for a few years when finally sold by the family. Compression test was done while the engine was looked over and made road ready. Has seen very few miles since. Engine is clean, tranny shifts well,she starts right up and idles and stops.
Interior is definately cool and original, feels like an old Teak wood sailboat boat interior on the inside. nice cabinets throughout, all the tables and cabinets are all there. Small stash area behind jumpseat back. some of the wood paneling has water/moisture damage but definately useable or replaceable.
The dash cleaned up well, some of the pics were prior to wiping down w/ Armor All.
Body is straight with rust in battery area, bottom of passenger front door and other misc. areas. Two holes behind driver slider and rear wheel appear to be punctured, not from rust. Front windshield area is solid. Body could use a good wash and a polish to bring out any shine that is hiding underthere. Appears to have original paint in areas and old respray in others. Still has the factory sticker on the sliding side door handle area.
Poptop vinyl looks good, just needs a good cleaning.
